The Institute of Texan Cultures features exhibits, programs and special events that examine and promote heritage, ethnicity, history, social issues and popular culture. Visitors learn the stories of immigrants who settled in Texas and contributed to its modern, multicultural society. Located in HemisFair Park, steps from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and the Tower of the Americas, and only a short walk from The Alamo and the River Walk.

Find historic artifacts, artist exhibitions, photographs and interactive displays across the 182,000-square-foot complex. The museum operated by the University of Texas at San Antonio also conducts research as well as puts on events throughout the year to show appreciation of Texas and Texans.
