The Fig Tree Restaurant received the DiRoNA Award every year since 1998. The DiRoNA Award is the only award in North America that results from an independent and anonymous restaurant inspection. Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRoNA) is a non-profit organization sponsored by companies interested in culinary and hospitality excellence. Its mission is to preserve and promote fine dining throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. To qualify for the DiRoNA Award a restaurant must be in business under the same ownership for at least three years and pass a rigorous evaluation conducted anonymously by specially trained, independent inspectors. The inspection emphasizes the quality of food and its presentation.
