The Colonial Room Restaurant and Menger Bar are two of the oldest structures added to the original Menger Hotel. Upgraded to accommodate the modern guest, you’ll find delicious dining and refreshing beverages within an atmosphere of an earlier era. Hotel guests and locals alike enjoy the historic link and gracious service they experience here.

The Colonial Room Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and features a fabulous noontime brunch and traditional dinner menu with international cuisine. Enjoy dining in the garden seating area on warm weather days.

An exact replica of London’s House of Lord’s Pub, the Menger Bar is where Teddy Roosevelt recruited his Rough Riders. Built in 1887, this establishment has a paneled ceiling of dark cherry wood, beveled mirrors from France, and the original brass spittoons provided for the convenience of its early customers.

Once the site of more cattle deals than any place in Texas, the Menger Bar has been voted one of the Top Ten Most Historic Bars in the United States. Serving up delicious beverages along with sandwiches, hamburgers, and appetizers, the Menger Bar will make your visit something to remember.
