Narrated tours of the San Antonio River Walk on the barges are available for the following prices:

$8.25 – General Admission
$6.00 – Bexar County Residents
$2.00 – Children (1-5 years)
$6.00 – Senior Citizens (60 & older) & United States Military

All prices are tax inclusive. Discount prices require picture ID. Group rates are available. There is a 10% discount on ticket purchases over 25.

Are pets allowed on the boats?

Only service pets are allowed on the River Walk boats.

Why aren’t there any public tours for the North Reach?

The River Walk boats currently support the Museum Reach with the Rio Taxi service and they have information that they offer about the art installations under the bridges.  Normal tours in that area will mostly likely go into effect when there is a larger demand.  Please submit your suggestion;  we’ll be sure to note your desire to get tours started up in the Museum Reach.

Are scooters, wheelchairs and strollers allowed on the boat?

Yes, and the drivers to their best to accommodate most scooters.  At times larger scooters are  not able to load due to the size of the ADA area designated on the boat.  Wheelchairs and strollers are always allowed though  guests are asked to fold their strollers and place them in the back.

Can we print tickets online?

You may order online after which they are printed and are either shipped Fed Ex or held at our Will Call box at the River Center Mall Location.  To be honest it’s best to purchase them in person at one of the kiosks along the River Walk.  Here is a handy map of those locations.

Do we need to make reservations for tours?

Reservations are not necessary for our public tours. River Boat tickets are not time specific and they leave the docks every 15-20 minutes.
